Overview

The TUN Admissions & Recruitment Program Manager is a strategic professional responsible for meeting academic enrollment goals through data-driven recruitment and complex admissions operations. This role exercises independent professional judgment to ensure compliance with institutional and accreditation policies (COCA/FERPA) while managing the full admissions funnel—from initial inquiry to matriculation. The Manager serves as a key liaison between faculty, prospective students, and healthcare partners to ensure a high-quality applicant experience.

Responsibilities

  1. Strategic Recruitment & Market Development
    • Formulate and implement comprehensive recruitment plans to meet and increase enrollment goals for the College of Osteopathic Medicine.
    • Manage recruitment calendars and logistics for off-site, virtual, and national recruitment events, including evening and weekend travel.
    • Collaborate with Program Leadership to solidify and manage partnerships within healthcare systems, businesses, and educational entities.
    • Analyze recruitment outcomes and engagement metrics to inform future target markets and strategy.
  2. Admissions Operations & Workflow Management
    • Manage the full admissions process, including the independent evaluation of primary and secondary applications, personal statements, and letters of recommendation.
    • Execute data-driven "funnel management" to build inquiry pools and reach established yield strategies.
    • Maintain documentation for admissions processes, timelines, and compliance requirements to ensure consistency and efficiency.
    • Identify and escalate compliance risks or anomalies to leadership to protect institutional integrity.
  3. Applicant Engagement & Event Leadership
    • Serve as the primary point of contact and advisor for prospective students, navigating them through complex application requirements via phone, email, and Zoom.
    • Lead the planning and execution of high-impact campus events, including Interview Days, "Tour TOURO," and Acceptance Day events.
    • Develop and maintain sophisticated communication campaigns (social media, email, and print) to encourage application completion and enrollment progression.
  4. Data Integrity & Systems Management
    • Conduct regular quality audits of applicant data within CRM systems (e.g., Slate, Banner, or AMP).
    • Generate analytical reports on pipeline activity and enrollment trends for senior leadership.
    • Maintain strict adherence to FERPA regulations and data confidentiality.
  5. Other Duties as Assigned

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree required

Experience:

  • Significant professional experience in recruitment, admissions, or higher education administration

Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficiency in admissions CRM systems (e.g., Slate, Batter, Hobsons), social media marketing, and data analysis tools.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills with the ability to present to diverse populations.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
