The mission of Touro University Nevada COM is the education of medical students to become well-rounded osteopathic doctors through innovative and supportive pre-clinical and clinical pathways. The Assistant Dean supports a broad range of activities in the Department of Clinical Education and serves as a resource and liaison to students, staff, and faculty. The Assistant Dean is responsible for supporting a number of services to students and preceptors, as well as ensuring students have access to faculty guidance and counseling in coordination with other administrative faculty. The Assistant Dean will support the clinical continuum through collaboration with academic affairs, OMM and clinical skills.

The office of Clinical Education introduces our medical students to meaningful, diverse clinical experiences in various settings. The Assistant Dean for Clinical Continuum is responsible for ensuring affiliated sites provide meaningful educational experiences; contributes to the education of students; managing student relationships; ensuring clinical achievement; aids in the attainment of leadership to all clinical education faculty and staff. The Assistant Dean for Clinical Continuum reports directly to the Associate Dean for Clinical Education.
