Touro University Nevada Office of Admissions is seeking a full-time Manager of Applicant Engagement to meet enrollment goals through data-driven practices and coordinated events. The primary intention is to develop and maintain partnerships across targeted states to flourish a consistent presence for the purposes of recruitment and retention of candidates for the Physician Assistant, Physical Therapy, Nursing, and Education programs. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and experienced in recruitment and retention best practices.

The Manager of Applicant Engagement will work closely with the Director of Admissions to provide seamless and excellent service to prospective students and Touro partners. The hired professional will formulate and implement comprehensive recruitment, retention, and communication plans for targeted regions to meet enrollment goals and attract a more competitive and inclusive student body. Local and out-of-state travel for recruitment events and meetings are required. This position reports to the Division of Student Affairs Director of Admissions.
Specific Responsibilities:
1. Significant travel, event management, and communication via phone, email, and text required.
2. Coordinate, plan, and execute short and long-term recruitment, retention, and communication strategies to satisfy enrollment goals while increasing applications from targeted states and decreasing candidate melt.
3. Manage the department’s CRM and text service to ensure accurate and relevant information is delivered in a timely manner.
4. Process applications and manage the application process for assigned programs. Maintain communication with prospective applicants to encourage and support completion of the application process.
5. Independently evaluate completed files and render admission decisions based on established criteria.
6. Manage quotes for printing and mailing marketing materials, including account management of vendor for invoices, payment, and distribution of Admission’s materials.
7. Identify emerging and new markets for prospective student targeting. Monitor and forecast changing trends in recruitment messaging.
8. Develop and foster communication with external stakeholders such as undergraduate advisors, student clubs, faculty, and community leaders.
9. Function as a recruiter to increase awareness of TUN’s programs and provide guidance in the application process.
10. Create statistical reports and provide analytical data to assist with recruitment, enrollment, and yield strategies.
11. Coordinate events for prospective applicants and incoming students both on campus and out-of-state.
12. Show openness to learning about individuals from diverse backgrounds and demographics and demonstrate an inclusive attitude toward all social identities.
13. Serve as a liaison and engaged member within the Division of Student Affairs and University community, participating in committees, events, and projects.
14. Participate in student events and major ceremonies such as, but not limited to, orientation, white coat ceremony, commencement, which may fall outside of scheduled work hours
