1. The Occupational Therapist is responsible for conducting initial occupational therapy evaluations, providing direct one-on-one and small group therapy, and contributing to multidisciplinary diagnostic evaluations. The Occupational Therapist is responsible for supervising fieldwork students and providing guest lectures in TUN’s School of Occupational Therapy.
1.1. Utilize accepted screening and assessment instruments to appraise children’s developmental status and performance in the areas of fine and gross motor skills, sensory integration, play behaviors, activities of daily living, and adaptive functioning.
1.2. Develop and implement treatment plans based upon evaluation results.
2. Co-facilitate groups in the areas of social skills and parent training as appropriate.
2.1. Maintain accurate records
2.2. Complete forms for insurance billing
2.3. Sanitize toys and equipment
3. Provide social skills and parent skills training
3.1. Ensure adults and children follow Center policies and procedures
3.2. Other duties may be assigned.
